Upcoming Auditions – January 11, 2012

Are you interested in singing with us or know someone who might be? Penthelia is holding auditions for new members on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012. Our rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at Rosedale Presbyterian Church (129 Mount Pleasant Road, just north of Bloor) Please contact us for more information.

    Hi there,

    My name is Kathleen Davignon, and I am looking to join a choir in the Mississauga.

    While it’s been a few years since I was in high school, I was enrolled in my school’s choir from grade 9 to OAC, and also participated in the school’s auditioned jazz choir. To say that I am rusty at reading sheet music would be putting it lightly, but I have a strong ear for music, and can learn my part relatively quickly.

    While my range goes from alto to soprano, my voice is best suited to singing alto sections.

    Please let me know if you’re looking to add to your choir. I’d love to get back into singing. I don’t know if I fall into the “experienced choral singer” category any longer, so I might not be a good match for your group, but hey- a girl can hope, right?

      I’m happy to have you audition on Wednesday, January 11th, if you would like. We are not locate in Mississauga, though. We rehearse at Mt. Pleasant and Bloor at Rosedale Presbyterian Church.
